Scientific studies showed up to 98% clearing of acne lesions after four treatments, done once per month. So far, two years later, most of these patients have remained free of significant acne.

SmoothBeam is a diode laser that targets the sebaceous glands in the upper part of the dermal layer of the skin. These glands are the source of bacterial growth, oiliness, and inflammation in the skin. These factors combine to produce pimples, pustules, blackheads, and cysts. By permanently shrinking these glands, acne can be cured. We expect this will replace years of antibiotic treatment or Accutane for many of our patients. SmoothBeam also stimulates collagen production, improving many acne scars. After your treatment, you can return to work or school immediately. There is no down time.

Risks are extremely rare (less than 1%) and include temporary darkening of skin. Reactions include discomfort during treatment and redness (usually lasting less than 1-2 days after each treatment.) It is important to avoid suntanning for six weeks after your treatment and use sunscreens daily. For your comfort, a topical anesthetic ointment should be applied one hour before your treatment. This is available in our office free of charge if you pre-pay for a series of 4 treatments (mini-treatments excluded.)

• Mini Treatment on face (choose 1 facial area only: forehead, nose, chin, or small area on cheeks) $ 300 each treatment or $ 800 for a series of 4 (save $ 400)
• Full face (includes eyes and upper lip also) - Ideal for adults with both acne and wrinkles $ 500 each treatment or $1600 for a series of 4 (save $ 400)

Back, Chest, and Shoulders

• One of these affected areas $ 600 each treatment or $2000 for a series of 4 (save $ 400)
• Two of these affected areas $ 800 each treatment or $2600 for a series of 4 (save $ 600)
• All three areas $ 900 each treatment or $3000 for a series of 4 (save $ 600)
• Mini Treatment on 1 partial area on body $ 400 each treatment or $1200 for a series of 4 (save $ 400)

Face plus any body area

Receive an additional discount of $400 when a series of 4 of each is done

If a series is purchased, additional treatments within 1 year following the series will be at the discounted series price.

Laser treatments are rarely covered by insurance, therefore we do not bill insurance for these treatments. Payment is due at the time of service and discounted series are paid in full prior to or at the time of the first treatment, in order to receive the discount.
